A Collaborative Partnership
The Chicago Public Schools/University of Chicago Internet Project (CUIP) is a collaboration between the University of Chicago and Chicago Public Schools (CPS). CUIP’s primary goal is to enhance teaching and learning in Chicago Public Schools through the use of computer technologies.
Bringing Technology to Schools
We believe that all public school students deserve access to technology resources to help enhance their education. In support of this belief, CUIP/NSP students:
- Assist teachers and students with technology in the classroom and computer lab
- Help create technology projects
- Assist with technical support and computer maintenance, including loading software and network and server management
- Sponsor an area-wide technology fair to highlight outstanding student work
