Welcome to the Neighborhood Schools Program.
The University founded NSP over thirty years ago to support the school children and their teachers in local elementary and high schools.
Today, NSP provides the opportunity for University of Chicago students to assist in school classrooms, community centers, and governmental offices.
Working in over fifty program sites, University NSP students provide individual and group tutoring, assist in classroom instruction, and support community development. This work can make a lasting, positive impact on the lives of children and their families in nearby neighborhoods.

Check out the Neighborhood Schools Program and turn your need for employment into an opportunity to strengthen the quality of life in nearby communities.
