Avanna is the HR & Operations Coordinator for the Neighborhood Schools Program. Within her role she serves as a critical member of the NSP team that manages hiring, payroll, and payroll reconciliation for over 300 student employees that serve as tutors and teaching assistants to local schools, community centers, and government offices.

Avanna is passionate about service and community engagement. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication with dual minors in Leadership and Public Service and Human Development and Family Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
