The Neighborhood Schools Program’s (NSP) Homework Help centers, offered in partnership with local community organizations, tap UChicago students to provide free after-school tutoring for K-12 students. The Homework Help initiative builds on NSP’s existing UChicago student-led tutoring program, Maroon Tutor Match, which provides affordable one-on-one tutoring for South Side youth, and complements NSP’s core work placing UChicago students in educational support roles in local schools and communities.
